A UGC deal tracker built around your brief
A UGC project may include a product demo, an unboxing video, and a later request for extra footage. The rate, delivery dates, and agreed usage may be spread across the offer email and a separate brief.
Handl gives you a deal record for those confirmed details, with the supporting source available when you need to check the scope. You can track content delivered directly to a brand as well as content you agree to publish yourself.
Review the brief before it becomes your task list
Connect the relevant Gmail thread or upload the contract or brief. Handl proposes terms for review. Check the content requirements, rate and currency, dates, and usage details against the original source, then confirm the information you want in the deal.
- 01 · Original scopeTwo videos · USD 1,650
The agreed brief calls for a product demo and an unboxing video.
- 02 · New requestThe brand asks for a third video
Compare the new request with the confirmed scope and clarify the revised agreement with the brand.
- 03 · Your decisionReview the proposed update
Confirm revised terms in Handl after you have checked what changed.
The example shows a review process, not automatic negotiation. You decide whether to accept the additional work and which terms to confirm.
Keep scope changes and rate context visible
When a tracked conversation introduces new terms, review the proposed changes against the source. Keep an extra deliverable distinct from feedback on an existing one, and check whether the rate and deadline still reflect your agreement.
With insights enabled, Handl can surface scope changes and compare rates with your own confirmed deal history. Those comparisons are context from your work, not a market-wide pricing benchmark. Open the supporting deals before deciding how to respond.
Track UGC deliverables and usage windows
Use the deal page to review content requirements and mark deliverables complete when the agreed work is done. Confirmed due dates and usage expiries also appear in the calendar, where you can view them alongside your connected Google Calendar events.
The usage rights tracker walkthrough explains how to confirm expiry dates and review approaching windows.
A delivery deadline and a usage expiry are different commitments. If the agreement ties usage to a future event, confirm the relevant dates before relying on a reminder. Handl displays expiry information for you to review; it does not remove content from a brand channel.
For a multi-part production schedule, the deliverables guide shows how to separate drafts, approvals, and publication. When delivery is complete, move to the invoice and payment workflow.
Try it with a brief you already have
Bring one active UGC agreement into Handl. Check whether you can find the agreed rate, each deliverable, the next date, and the evidence behind a usage term. Then review the next brand update through the same workflow.
Insights, revenue tracking, and recording transcription require Pro or Team access during beta. If you agreed terms on a call, enabled transcription can turn an uploaded recording into proposed details for review.
Questions about this workflow
Can Handl track content that is never posted on my own account?
Yes. Deal records and deliverables can describe content you deliver directly to a brand. Record the scope and dates you agreed to rather than assuming every item has a creator publication date.
Will Handl set my UGC rate?
No. You choose your rate. When available, rate insights use your confirmed history and show supporting evidence to help you assess a new offer.
Can my manager work with me?
Yes. Organization workspaces support creator and manager collaboration. Organization creation requires direct Team access during beta; personal and organization work remain separate.
